Manos Unidas serves students from a variety of socio-economic backgrounds including many abandoned children from orphanages. Many students that attend Camino Nuevo are not able to pay full tuition ($72/month).

The pre-requisite for admission are dedicated parents or caretakers willing to invest in quality education. Manos Unidas' funds directly support scholarships for students.

In 2011, 18% of our students received full scholarships, 69% received financial aid

Here is how your donation can help:

·         $700 will sponsor a full annual scholarship for a child in extreme need for the 2012 school year

·         $350 will sponsor a partial annual scholarship for a child in need for the 2012 school year

·         $175 will provide financial assistance for a child in need for the 2012 school year

·         $50 will provide a year’s worth of school supplies for a Camino Nuevo student
